Jenna Anders

Jenna Anders is a Ciriacy-Wantrup Postdoctoral Fellow at Berkeley ARE for the 2024-2025 academic year, after which she will join the Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy at the University of Virginia as an assistant professor. She studies the optimal design of social and environmental government programs in the U.S. Her recent work examines how the relationship between federal and state regulators affects environmental enforcement and compliance outcomes. In related work, she studies the benefits of environmental remediation. She holds a Ph.D. in economics from Harvard, and a B.A. in economics and environmental studies from Brown University.
