Yousra is interested in research at the intersection of development, health, and environmental economics, including the economics of sustainable development and environmental impacts on population health. She holds a BA from Harvard College in Government and Global Health and Health Policy, where she received highest honors and the Thomas T. Hoopes Prize for her senior thesis. Previously, she has worked as a research assistant in health economics at the Tobin Center for Economic Policy at Yale.
