Torben K. Mideksa is a Postdoctoral Fellow with The Keith Group at the Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and Fellow of the Weatherhead Initiative on Climate Engineering at Harvard University; Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics of Uppsala University; and a Research Associate at the Center for the Study of Equality, Social Organization and Performance at the Department of Economics of the University of Oslo. He is an environmental economist, and is currently focusing on the design and evaluation of governance schemes for geoengineering. Dr. Mideksa received a BA in Economics from Mekelle University (2002), Masters in Environmental and Development Economics at the University of Oslo (2006), MPA in International Development from Harvard University (2011), and PhD in Economics from the University of Oslo (2017). He has been Gold Medalist of his cohort at Mekelle University (2002) and received Harvard's Dean Fellowship (2009-2011) as well as the Christopher Kaneb Prize from the Harvard Environmental Economics Program (2011).
