Stuart is interested in environmental and energy economics and policy, and in particular the design and evaluation of policies to promote renewable energy and energy efficiency. His previous research includes the impact of climate regulation in the electric power sector, potential reform of the U.S. Renewable Fuel Standard, and comparative evaluation of global energy modeling projections. Stuart has worked as a research analyst at the Duke University Energy Initiative and as a policy analyst at the D.C. think tank Bipartisan Policy Center. He also has a variety of experience in the information technology industry. Stuart graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of California at San Diego, and earned a Master of Environmental Management from Duke University.
