Robert Lawrence

Robert Lawrence is Albert L. Williams Professor of International Trade and Investment. Lawrence came to the school from the Brookings Institution, where he was a senior fellow. He has taught at Johns Hopkins University and Yale University, where he received his PhD in economics. He was the New Century Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution, and research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. He is on the advisory boards of the Congressional Budget Office, the Institute for International Economics, the Overseas Development Council, and the Presidential Commission on United States-Pacific Trade and Investment Policy. His research focuses on trade policy. He recently returned to Harvard after serving as a member of the President
