Kala Viswanathan's research interests are in corporate sustainability, environmental economics, and firm strategy. She is pursuing a doctoral degree in Technology and Operations Management at Harvard Business School. She previously worked as an Energy Analyst at the Natural Resources Defense Council, where she testified at Public Utilities Commissions across the country and worked on policies to incentivize distributed energy resources. She holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Duke University and Stanford University.
