Elizabeth Mettetal received her Ph.D. in Public Policy from Harvard University in 2015, where she was a fellow in the Harvard Environmental Economics Program and served as the Head Teaching Fellow for Harvard's Fundamentals of Environmental Economics and Policy course. While at Harvard, Dr. Mettetal conducted research on the potential health externalities of agricultural water use and on incentives for environmental technology adoption. Since graduating, Dr. Mettetal has practiced as an environmental economist supporting clients on policy issues related to air quality, water, climate change, oil and natural gas, energy efficiency and the electricity grid. Elizabeth obtained her undergraduate degree from MIT, where she studied environmental engineering science.
