Eleanor Krause
Eleanor's research considers the distributional and welfare implications of environmental and climate policies. She is particularly interested in understanding and addressing the economic impacts of such policies on low-income and other vulnerable communities, and adapting the tools of microeconomics to discover policies that promote both environmental integrity and economic mobility. She received a B.A. in political science and B.S. in environmental studies from the University of Vermont and an M.P.A. from the University of Washington. Prior to beginning her doctoral studies, she was a research assistant in the Economic Studies program at the Brookings Institution and a research consultant for the U.S. Climate Initiative at the World Resources Institute.
