HEEP Faculty Fellow, James Stock, Kicks Off the Virtual Seminar on Climate Economics as First Presenter

HEEP Faculty Fellow, James Stock, was the first guest to present in the Virtual Seminar on Climate Economics, an online seminar hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. Stock presented his research on “The Macroeconomic Impact of Europe’s Carbon Taxes.” In addition to the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, the virtual seminar was organized by colleagues from the University of Hamburg, Arizona State University, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond.

Stock’s presentation shares the same title as his paper, co-authored by HEEP Associate Scholar from Tufts University, Gilbert Metcalf. The paper was published as a working paper by the National Bureau of Economic Research this month.

The virtual seminar took place on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at 11:00 AM (EDT).
