Dale W. Jorgenson is the Samuel W. Morris University Professor at Harvard University. He was awarded the prestigious John Bates Clark Medal by the American Economic Association in 1971 and served as President of the Association in 2000. Jorgenson has conducted groundbreaking research on energy and the environment, tax policy and investment behavior, and a number of other topics in economics. Professor Jorgenson has been a leader in the development of the Harvard China Project – focusing on the Project’s research in economics – since the mid-1990s. The Harvard China Project conducts peer-reviewed research on China’s economy, energy, atmospheric environment (both air pollution and greenhouse gases), and environmental health.
