Tracy is interested in studying the impacts of climate change on food production systems and promising ways to mitigate those impacts. She holds two bachelor's degrees from Yale University, one in Economics and Mathematics and one in History. Prior to beginning her doctoral studies, she worked as a research assistant at the MIT Department of Economics.
