 Sam Stolper is an environmental and energy economist and assistant professor at the University of Michigan's School for Environment and Sustainability (SEAS), where he studies and teaches courses on economics, policy, and justice. His research includes studies of energy policy, energy efficiency, transportation, water affordability, disproportionate pollution exposure, and carbon neutrality. Prior to joining SEAS, Sam was a postdoctoral associate at MIT. He received a Ph.D. in public policy in 2016 from Harvard University and a B.S. in biomedical engineering in 2006 from Brown University.
