 Pascal’s research interests include optimal energy taxation, the design and impact of energy investment incentives, and pricing in transportation markets. Pascal received a B.A. in Economics and in Ethics, Politics, and Economics from Yale in 2006 and an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics in 2007. He worked for two years as a research assistant on [*The Hamilton Project*](http://www.brookings.edu/about/projects/hamiltonproject) at Brookings, where his research focused on climate change, energy security, and per-mile pricing of auto insurance. From 2009 to 2011 he was a senior policy advisor on the National Economic Council at the White House.
