#  HEEP Hosts Online Bibliography of Research on the Energy-Efficiency Gap

HEEP has built an online bibliography of research literature on the "energy-efficiency gap." The "library" is publicly available here:

The bibliography is one product of an ongoing HEEP [research project](http://www.hks.harvard.edu/m-rcbg/heep/energy-efficiency.html) to better understand the energy-efficiency gap—that is, the apparent gap between the rate of adoption of energy-efficiency technology by individuals and households that one might expect, given the benefits apparently associated with such adoption, and the rate at which such technology is actually adopted. The project is conducted in collaboration with the [Duke University Energy Initiative](http://energy.duke.edu/) (DUEI) and co-directed by HEEP Director [Robert Stavins](http://www.hks.harvard.edu/fs/rstavins/) and DUEI Director [Richard Newell](http://fds.duke.edu/db/Nicholas/esp/faculty/rgn3).

The project is supported by the [Alfred P. Sloan Foundation](http://www.sloan.org/).

HEEP utilizes [Zotero](https://www.zotero.org/) for its energy-efficiency library. Zotero is a bibliographic-management solution with both a web interface and an interface in the form of a Mozilla-Firefox plug-in. The [Roy Rosenzweig Center for History and New Media](http://chnm.gmu.edu) develops and hosts Zotero.
