Assistant Professor, the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota
Gabriel Chan will be an Assistant Professor at the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, University of Minnesota during academic year 2015-2016. Gabe’s research interests are focused on climate policy and energy economics. He is interested in the interaction of climate policy and international trade policy inducing emission leakage. Gabe is also interested in energy technology innovation, specifically government energy research and development policy. Gabe received his undergraduate degrees in Political Science and Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Science at M.I.T and has worked at the U.S. Department of Energy in the Office of Climate Change Policy and Technology.
