HEEP Pre-Doctoral Fellow Receives Vicki Norberg-Bohm Fellowship

Patrick Behrer, a HEEP Pre-Doctoral Fellow, is the 2014-15 recipient of the Vicki Norberg-Bohm Fellowship awarded by the Science, Technology and Public Policy Program and the Environment and Natural Resources Program at the Harvard Kennedy School. The Selection Committee included Henry Lee, Director of the Environment and Natural Resources Program; Venkatesh Narayanamurti, Director of the Science, Technology and Public Policy Program; and William Clark, Co-Director of the Sustainability Science Program. Mr. Behrer’s project is titled “Endogenous production and the commons: Can privatization benefit labor?”

Mr. Behrer received his A.B. degree from Harvard College and previously won HEEP’s 2010 James M. and Cathleen D. Stone Prize for the Best Senior Thesis, titled “Building in the Mountains: A hedonic analysis of the value of degraded mountain views using GIS modeling.”
