R. Jisung Park

R. Jisung Park is an environmental and labor economist interested broadly in how environmental factors shape economic opportunity. He is particularly interested in the effects of climate change on labor and human capital outcomes, the process of adaptation to environmental change, and the implications of climate change for economic inequality. Park received a PhD in economics from Harvard University in 2017, and Masters degrees in Environmental Change and Management (MSc) and Development Economics (MSc) from Oxford University (2010, 2011).

Beginning in January 2023, he will be an Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania, where he will be jointly appointed at the School of Policy and Practice (primary) and the Business Economics and Public Policy department at Wharton (secondary).

During the fall of 2022, Park will be a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Yale University School of the Environment.
